About Me:
I was raised in what most would call a “Christian Home” in which both of my parents were believers, but my dad did not go to Church when I was young. My redemption story is a reminder that you must still make the choice to follow Christ on your own, your parents cannot do it for you. In 2005, at the age of 14, I was reading scripture when I finally understood the path to salvation, that Christ must be Lord, not just Savior. I still stumble and fall, but by the grace of God I still run my race as best I can. In July of 2006, one month before my freshman year of Highschool, my dad, mom, and younger sister (age 1), were in a terrifying car accident when their van was t-boned at upwards of 80mph. This event started a chain reaction in my family in which faith was renewed and my dad met Christ in a whole new way, making our family whole with our head of the house finally following the will of God in his life. This incident is still to this day a critical moment in my testimony, and I will happily share with any who ask about it. Later on in my life, I went on to join the United States Air Force in which I was an aircraft maintainer. During that time, I met my beautiful wife and we adopted our two wonderfully stupid dogs, Willow Anne and Walter Mitty. God has continued to bless me, and I am excited to see what is next!
As for gaming, I started on the NES as a young boy playing games like Duck Hunt and legend of Zelda. I stayed on consoles for most of my young life until I was introduced to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory in Jr. High. Thus began my life as a member of the PC Master Race. I have been in other Christian Groups before, even running my own at one point, in games from Americas Army and Planetside to Battlefront II and Guild Wars. These days, my gaming taste is fairly narrowed and I mainly play Arma and Star Citizen. I do still enjoy my tabletops, though.
